Who We Are



Susan Clopton (Headmistress) has a master's degree in Theological Studies from Emory University.
She was a professor of religious studies at the University of the Incarnate Word for six years and has taught in homeschool co-ops and cottage schools.
Mrs. Clopton is married with four children.
Libby Upham (Assistant Headmistress) has a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Dallas as well as formation in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
She has worked with children of all ages as a tutor and as a classroom teacher in private schools, charter schools, and homeschool co-ops.
Mrs. Upham is married with five children.
Mrs. Michelle Gardiner teaches outdoor science and gardening, with a focus on soil and permaculture. She is passionate about using the natural world to explore life lessons and deeper spiritual truths. Michelle is currently pursuing her master's degree in Counseling at Divine Mercy University, and she enjoys writing, philosophy, and theology. She is a wife, mother of four adult children, and soon to be grandmother.
Mr. Jared Johnson (Integrated Humanities) is currently studying for an MA in Humanities at the University of Dallas, emphasizing in medieval and early modern British history, literature, and philosophy. He has a BA in History from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Previously, he taught at Cicero Preparatory Academy, a Great Hearts Academy in Scottsdale, AZ for two years.
Mrs. Catherine Leleux (Home Economics) majored in home economics at the University of Oklahoma. She is a former FOCUS missionary and discerned with the Sisters of Life.
Miss Therese Ohotnicky (Latin) is a graduate of Christendom College. When she is not teaching, she loves reading and playing the organ.
